About Doxa Coffee Roasters Monterey Oaks

Doxa Coffee Roasters Monterey Oaks is a coffee shop in Austin, Texas. It is listed at 4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd Suite 101, Austin, TX 78749, which places it among the local businesses of Austin that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is doxacoffeeroasters.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 46 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Austin.

Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Austin is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Very cute coffee shop on a cozy setting. The coffee was OK. But the service was great

I popped into this super cute coffee shop spontaneously! It's in a really charming spot. I wish I could’ve tried all the other pastries, but everything we had was honestly amazing. The cinema bowl was chewy, rich, and cinnamony! The chocolate croissant was buttery, flaky, and decadent! The quiche was fluffy, eggy, and tasty! The Americana was rich and fresh! The Matcha had an earthy, fantastic flavor. Definitely worth checking out β€” it’s a chill place to hang out or even work on some projects because the area is really peaceful.

This is an interesting place. As other reviews have said, it’s inside a church complex. I almost turned around and left when I saw the empty parking lot and the church. But then I looked at explanations in the reviews, and I decided to try it. After you park your car, follow the signs to the shared workspace and it will lead you to the beautiful park like area and you’ll see signs to the coffee shop. It’s very relaxing and pretty. And the best part is my cappuccino, which is what I came for is delicious and the service was great and it’s quiet, open place.

Love that there is finally a coffee shop on Monterey Oaks Boulevard! Great coffee, plenty of seating and very chill. They can tend to run out of things quickly in the day so definitely get there early if there is something particular you're craving.

Coffee counter within an elaborate church complex. They have a surprisingly robust list of drinks and flavor of coffee for their location. There are several booths and tables in front of the counter in a rambling lobby-like space that is labeled as a co-working venue. The church grounds are lovely and provide a picturesque walk with your drink. The complex has a large free parking lot, from which you will follow several signs to find the coffee counter.
